A Major Leap Forward to Sustainability
Dear Members of the LAU Family,
In the spirit of open communication among members of a close-knit family, I am writing to share with you a series of positive developments critical to the future of the University. These developments center around a number of key initiatives we have either launched or will be launching shortly.
The attached statement outlines and highlights six initiatives that have either been successfully taken or are currently underway. What these initiatives have in common is that they are all related to accelerating movement to the next level in the steady ascendance of LAU. Such ascendance is, of course, a goal and a commitment that unites us. It is our reason for working so hard towards seeing LAU sustainably occupy its rightful position at the cutting edge of quality higher education and advanced healthcare.
As you go over the attached statement, you will notice that the initiatives it covers span all aspects of the university, and is comprehensive and inclusive.
For the initiatives listed to sustainably produce the desired effects, we should all cooperate and contribute to their success. LAU has all the talent needed for the effective implementation of each and all of these six initiatives. Those of us who feel they can contribute to one or more initiatives in the program should come forth and declare their willingness and ability. This invitation covers faculty, physicians and staff.
