Networks and Networking

The International Services and Programs office is involved in several top networks for leading Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) engaged in international education. The aim of these networks is to allow HEI administrators working in international education to connect, network, engage in discussions for potential collaborations, exchange best practices, and collaboratively initiate new programs.

Networks ISP is currently engaged with:

NAFSA (US)

NAFSA serves the needs of more than 10,000 members and international educators worldwide and is the leading organization in the US committed to international education and exchange, working to advance policies and practices that build global citizens with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in today’s interconnected world. The annual NAFSA conference attracts more than 8,000 participants every year.

EAIE (EU)

The EAIE is the European center for expertise, networking, and resources in the Internationalization of higher education. It is a not-for-profit, member-led organization serving individuals actively involved in the internationalization of their institutions. The Annual EAIE Conference, the largest of its kind in Europe, attracts more than 6,000 participants.

ISEP exchange (Global)

For more than 40 years, ISEP has partnered with 300 universities and colleges from over 50 countries around the world for solutions to help them reach their internationalization goals. It is the largest global community for study, intern, and volunteer abroad programs. More than 60,000 students from our member institutions have participated in our semester-long, full-year, and summer programs.

IIE (US)

The Institute of International Education (IIE) is an American non-governmental institution that focuses on international student exchange and aid, foreign affairs, and international peace and security. Its global network comprises 18 offices and affiliates, 600+ staff, and 1,600 higher education partners worldwide. The institute governs more than 200+ programs serving more than 27,000 people from 185 nations each year.

AIEA (US)

The Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) is the only association dedicated exclusively to senior leaders in the field of international education. Members serve as leaders of higher education institutions and of organizations that support international higher education. AIEA gives members opportunities to join forces, share institutional strategies, and provide an effective voice on matters of public policy.

COIMBRA Group of Brazilian Universities (CGBU)

The Grupo de Coimbra de Universidades Brasileiras (Coimbra Group of Brazilian Universities) is a non-profit organization with the aim of promoting academic cooperation and exchange between Brazilian universities and higher education institutions worldwide. The organization plans conferences between Brazil and Europe, providing interesting networking opportunities with potential partners.

AAICU (US)

AAICU is a leadership organization of American international universities whose members provide responsible delivery and quality assurance of American higher education outside the United States. Our students can benefit from exchange spots through this network in any of the member institutions.
