Profile
The School of Architecture and Design at the Lebanese American University is currently accepting applications for a Visiting Faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in architecture for the Spring 2026 term. The selected candidate will be appointed at the appropriate rank, depending on their teaching, research and/or professional experience, as well as educational degrees.
The successful candidate should have a substantial experience in architectural design and should be able to teach a senior architecture studio (Design VIII), in addition to one course related to their expertise. The senior level studio is open to experimental approaches in design while engaging students in projects that address the question of sustainability and its applications in architecture.

Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in architecture, in addition to a minimum of four years teaching and/or professional experience in the field.
Duration of position
This position will open in Spring 2026, which begins by Mid-January. The position is for one term only, and may be extended for an additional term, depending on need and mutual interest.
