The Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering (located in Byblos, Lebanon) invites applicants for a part-time lab instructor position in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
Review of applications will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled. Expected start date is September 2025 (for Fall 25), or January 2026 (for Spring 26).
Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in engineering (preferably in Mechanical Engineering or any related field). An MS degree in Mechanical Engineering (or any related field) would also be preferred.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach the following undergraduate-level lab courses (and possibly others in the future) and to participate actively in upkeeping these labs and ordering necessary equipment and consumables:
- MEE351 – Computer Aided Design Lab
- MEE333 – Manufacturing Lab
- MEE212 – Computer Applications in MEE
- MEE446 – Control Systems Lab
- MEE391 – Instrumentation and Measurements Lab
