Part-Time Faculty Position in Computer/Electrical Engineering (Multiple Positions)

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applicants for part-time teaching positions in the Byblos and Beirut campuses for the Spring 2025 semester (from January 16, 2025 to May 13, 2025). The department is seeking highly qualified and motivated faculty members to teach one or more of the below courses:

Description: This course covers the internals of the microprocessor and assembly language, storing, manipulating, moving data, basics of control flow, interfacing to other devices, basics of writing good assembly code using the stacks and position independent codes.

 

Description: This course introduces the concepts of resistors, capacitors and inductors, voltage and current sources, operational amplifiers, voltage and current laws, node and mesh analysis, network theorems, power and energy, three-phase circuits, logic circuits, and binary representations.

 

Description: This course covers advanced object-oriented programming techniques, including composition, inheritance, and polymorphism. Students will learn to design and implement efficient programs using design patterns. The course also covers algorithmic analysis, testing, exception handling, recursion, and advanced sorting algorithms. By the end of the course, students will have gained practical skills in algorithm design and program development.

 

Applicants must have obtained a PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field by the time of appointment. Applicants must have good oral and written English communication skills. Priority will be given to applicants with prior teaching experience or relevant work experience.
