The Petroleum Engineering Program invites applicants for part-time teaching positions in Byblos campus for the Fall 2024 semester (from August 26, 2024 to December 23, 2024). We are seeking highly qualified and motivated faculty members to teach the following course:
PTE543 Life Cycle and Risk Management [3-0, 3 cr.]
Framework, context and history of asset management, strategic management and engineered asset management in context. Application/adaptation of basic tools, costs and benefits of life cycle management, available models and standards. Possible uses of models business drivers, legal requirements, quality systems and configuration and documentation management, interfaces with other functions (departments and organizations). Prerequisite: PTE340 Financial Management of Engineered Assets.
Qualifications: The applicant must have obtained a PhD degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field by the time of appointment.
Applicants must have good oral and written English communication skills. Priority will be given to applicants with prior teaching experience or relevant work experience.
