Tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering

The Chemical Engineering Program at the School of Engineering (located in Byblos, Lebanon) invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of Chemical Engineering effective January 2025 (Spring) and September 2025 (Fall), (with preference given to those who have U.S. experience in teaching or industry). Visiting faculty positions at all ranks will also be considered for one year appointment, extendable to two years.

Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or in a related field and a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering. Candidates with any emphasis of Chemical Engineering are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate- and graduate-levels, build a strong research program, attract external funding, advise undergraduate and graduate students, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in service activities in the Program, School and the University.
