We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Researcher position within our Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Research Group at our University. Our team is at the forefront of developing innovative techniques in the field of cryogenic machining, and we are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to contribute to our research on titanium composites.
 
The selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to work on a funded project, aimed at revolutionizing the machining process of aerospace-grade titanium composites. The research will focus on the application of cryogenic cooling methods to enhance the machinability, surface integrity, and tool life during the machining process. This position offers a chance to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative and dynamic research environment.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications for this position include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, with a strong background in manufacturing, materials characterization, cryogenic processes, and FEM. Experience with titanium composites and a publication record in relevant peer-reviewed journals will be considered an asset. The successful candidate will be expected to design and conduct experiments, analyze data, publish findings, and collaborate with industry partners.
