Portfolio Manager
The Academy of Continuing Education (ACE) is currently looking for a Portfolio Manager reporting to the Director of ACE. This is a central position that requires presence on both Beirut and Byblos campuses.Role Summary
The Portfolio Manager is mainly responsible for ensuring the successful design, execution, and evaluation of educational programs to deliver high-quality continuing education programs tailored to adult learners, professionals, and community members.
S/he will implement ACE’s sales strategy by assisting the Director in driving program growth, performing financial analysis, analyzing market trends through market research, writing proposals and MOUs, and generating sales reports. This role involves overseeing the coordination of program activities, ensuring alignment with ACE’s goals, maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency, and enhancing the overall user experience. The Portfolio Manager will work closely with the Director of ACE, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive the programs’ success.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely closing of deals
- Monitors sales metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports to the Director of ACE on team performance
- Sets and achieves sales targets, analyzes sales performance metrics, and adjusts strategies to meet sales goals
- Follows up on individual and team sales targets and monitors performance through regular evaluations and support
- Serves as the primary point of contact between program coordinators and the Director of ACE, providing regular updates on program status, risks, and issues
- Conducts regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to enhance team effectiveness
- Establishes clear goals for the team, monitors progress, and drives accountability for meeting sales objectives and maintaining high customer service standards
- Implements systems and processes for efficient lead generation, follow-up, and sales tracking
- Reviews sales performance and market trends to optimize the team’s approach and adapt strategies accordingly
- Conducts financial data analysis and implements risk management strategies
- Works closely with the marketing team to ensure promotional materials, digital campaigns, and outreach efforts to target prospective learners and align with sales goals effectively
- Evaluates program processes and effectiveness through participant feedback, data analysis, and continuous improvement strategies and implements improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Prepares and presents reports to the Director of ACE on sales performance, client engagement, and program effectiveness
- Supports the director in performing financial analysis based on thorough market research
- Assists the director in developing business plans and strategic initiatives
- Proposes new tuition fee structures aligned with industry benchmarks to enhance competitiveness
- Assists the director in corporate proposals, MOAs, and others
- Optimizes the utilization of ACE resources to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, preferably in Management, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or any related field
- Certifications: certificates in Management, Leadership, Professional Coaching, Education, & Sales are a plus
- 8 years of similar work experience primarily in sales, sales management, marketing, or business development in continuing education, training, or similar professional services, out of which 3 are in a supervisory role
- Strategic and analytical skills
- Business management skills
- Proven track record of working with sales metrics and KPIs as well as the use of CRM systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills with excellent interpersonal abilities
- Solid understanding of program evaluation methods
- Focus on quality and excellence
- Good customer service skills
- Good planning and problem-solving ability
