LAUers in More Ways than One

Chantal Chaoul ’21

It was such an honor to graduate from LAU in fall 2020 despite all the challenges I was facing such as having a full-time job, being pregnant, and having a baby. Not to mention the uncertainty that the country and the whole world was facing during COVID.

Shifting from being a staff member in the morning and a student in the afternoon, added value to my understanding of the students’ point of view. I learned to better appreciate the efforts that all the departments put in to serving students. The period of completing my graduate studies was full of happy and stressful moments shared with my colleagues, classmates and new friends.

Since my family has been at LAU for generations, I always consider LAU as my second home. LAU’s culture has made it possible to overcome all challenges.
