My dearest son, George, and dearest daughter, Joelle:

Throughout my 22 years of working at LAU, I’ve been waiting for this day to come. To see you both marching in the commencement in front of my eyes. Words could not describe my feelings. I would like to thank LAU, my second home, for fulfilling my dream: seeing my children graduate from a well-known university because I, myself, did not have the opportunity to attain higher education.

What made me even prouder is how you, George, were able to graduate with high distinction, in spite of all the challenges that you went through. I would advise both of you to never give up on anything you do and to never stop trying and working hard to reach your career and goals. I wish you all the best of luck.
