The commencement was stunning, very well planned and executed. The LAU family is amazing, and I am lucky to be part of it.

My advice to my son and anyone graduating in these trying times is to stay true to themselves, their values and their faith.

They should always be embracing adventure, new experiences and be open to change.

My special moment was when Provost George Nasr asked everyone to sit down except for the LAU alumni who were requested to remain standing for the Alma Mater song. Right then, I felt that life does go on and that we are all connected.
