LAUers in More Ways than One

Mohamad Kassem

I would tell Lara to pursue her dreams in fashion design and seek the jobs that allow her to express her talent and hard work.

A special memory was seeing her every morning and hearing about her achievements at the end of the day, knowing that she was doing well in her class, which made me very proud.

I also remember her last days at the university, and the thrill we all felt when she registered for her final classes. Unfortunately, she did not get to march in a commencement ceremony due to the pandemic. But we did take beautiful photos with her in cap and gown at the time.
