This is the most challenging period of our lives. Managing the COVID-19 pandemic while practicing medicine is a huge struggle by itself, compounded by the failing economy in Lebanon that is getting worse by the day.

But medicine is not about making money. It is a truly unique, humanitarian mission to save human lives and help people in need. Physicians cannot leave Lebanon now when they are needed the most. They simply cannot.

Perseverance, strength, resilience, faith and love for my country are what keep me going. Now is not the time to give up on everything and leave. But the time to join forces and fight to save our Lebanon.
