Exchange and Visiting Students
LAU welcomes those who would like to attend its campuses for a semester or a year as a “study abroad” experience.
Exchange students come through formal agreements between their home universities and LAU or through an Erasmus project. Visiting students are those who will attend LAU on their own initiative in the absence of formal agreements between the universities.
To learn more, see the particular application process and requirements as well as this brief guide for incoming international students.
MEPI–Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholars
Many capable and highly motivated young students from the Middle East and North Africa attend LAU under this special scholarship program made possible by the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI).
SINARC (Arabic) Students
Our Arabic as a foreign language program welcomes students who wish to study modern standard Arabic or the Lebanese dialect, at all levels. Originally a summer institute, it now offers fall, winter, and spring sessions in Beirut and New York.
