Pro-Green Diploma

This graduate diploma — the first of its kind in the Middle East — is jointly offered by three universities in Lebanon and Egypt: American University of Beirut, American University in Cairo, and LAU.

The curriculum, delivered in the form of online classes, focuses on renewable energies, green buildings and water resources.

All three universities apply the same admission procedures, teaching/examination regulations and academic calendar. Students may choose a preferred location but are automatically co-registered at the other locations to ensure access to the facilities of all the degree-sharing institutions.

This project is the result of a grant by the EU Tempus Programme. While the Middle Eastern partners administer the diploma program, European partners provide guidance, expertise and best practices.
