High percentage of faculty with PhDs
More than two thirds of LAU’s faculty hold PhDs from reputable western universities – US, Canada, Australia and the UK – and are active in research, which ensures students receive specialized instruction.
Low student-to-faculty ratio
As a private university, LAU aims to provide its students with a choice of courses and programs. The current ratio is 10 to 1: for every 10 students, there is on average 1 faculty member.
Prestigious accreditations
LAU has been accredited institution-wide by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) – one of the principal accrediting organizations – since 2009, which attests to the university’s rigorous administration and education. In addition, several LAU programs have been accredited by prestigious accrediting bodies.
