Refund Procedure
Withdrawal from courses:
- During the drop/add period students may withdraw from part or all of their courses and get a 100% refund.
- After that, if a student withdraws from courses or stops attending classes no refund will be granted.
Right for a refund:
Students have the right for a refund if there is a credit in their account due to:
- Excess payment
- Additional financial aid, scholarships, or loans granted to students after having paid their tuition.
Request for a refund:
- Students can choose to request a refund or to keep excess funds in their account for future payments.
- Students can request a refund by sending an email to their respective campus business office: businessoffice.beirut@lau.edu.lb or businessoffice.byblos@lau.edu.lb
Refunds are processed within two weeks from the students’ request either through a check issued in the name of the student, cash payment, or interbank transfer.
Exceptional Refund:
In exceptional cases, students may be able to ask for a late withdrawal with refund by submitting a petition through the student portal.
